About the Role

We’re seeking an Account Director to lead one of our key client relationships. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Irvine, CA, supporting a major client headquartered in Torrance, CA. You will serve as the day-to-day point of contact—leading client meetings, overseeing program details, building and managing budgets, and partnering closely with our Executive Producer to deliver exceptional work.

This role requires regular availability to travel to Torrance for client meetings and on-site needs.

  • Lead confident, organized discussions around strategy, scope, schedules, and budget development and management.
  • Work seamlessly with internal teams, especially our Executive Producer, to ensure programs are executed at an elevated level.
  • Have experience leading complex, multi-workstream programs across live events, training, or experiential marketing.
  • Have knowledge of event production processes through direct Senior- or Executive-level production experience (experience producing trade shows, PR events, and corporate training events is a plus).
  • Have experience supporting advertising execution and media buying, including coordinating creative development and media placements.
  • Influence and motivate others through strong leadership, clear direction, and constructive feedback.
  • Are known for consistency, dependability, and high-level performance.
  • Promote a culture of hospitality, accountability, and achievement.
  • Enjoy strengthening and expanding existing client relationships through excellent execution and delivery, while developing the team that supports the account.
  • Build repeatable processes and strong client touchpoints that drive extraordinary results.
  • Stay informed—keeping up with the client’s business, competitive landscape, and relevant industry news.
  • Balance immediate project needs with long-term account planning and relationship development.
  • Sweat the details—budgets, schedules, and communications—knowing they’re the foundation of great programs.
  • Bring a strong background in marketing, training, events, and/or communications.
  • Communicate clearly, succinctly, and with strong emotional intelligence.
  • Are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects at once, with the ability to track many moving parts and shifting priorities without missing details.
