Chief Technology Officer Orange

The client is seeking a Chief Technology Officer for their Irvine location, with a focus on hardware.

The position requires the candidate to be in the office four to five times a week.

The client is open to candidates with experience at the Manager or Director level rather than requiring previous VP or CTO experience.

The role primarily involves management (80%) with some design and architecture responsibilities (20%). Key technologies involved include Java, Spring Boot, Rest API, C++, AWS, Elastic Beanstalk, React, and SQL.

The client is looking for a candidate with strong Java, SQL, and reporting skills, as well as robust design and architecture capabilities.

This role will require the ability to handle business delivery requirements and develop and execute strategies.

The candidate should be comfortable communicating with individuals from various disciplines, including C-level executives, sales, and finance.

They should also have professional experience as a Software Engineering Manager or Director of Software Engineering.

While expertise in Java and SQL is essential, experience with C++ is considered a significant advantage.
