The OpportunityJoin our dynamic Business Performance team as an Organization and Workforce Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing workforce, talent, and mobility strategies. You will be instrumental in future‑proofing our operations by designing, developing, and influencing operating models and continuous change. As a trusted advisor, you will develop and implement workforce strategies that align with business and functional strategy to meet business objectives.
Your expertise will be crucial in understanding workforce requirements to design organizations at the operating model and organization design level to achieve strategic intent.
- Lead large‑scale organizational design projects and advise stakeholders while building relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Collaborate to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges, from structuring teams to deliver on the organization’s strategy to enabling more agile ways of working.
- Lead project work streams, from planning through implementation, including managing project resources and budgets, and identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Understanding of using organizational design, strategic workforce planning, and change management as integral components of transformational initiatives focused on accelerating business performance.
- Understand the opportunities and risks associated with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and organizational design implications.
- Demonstrate technical competence in key capabilities and take a practical, business‑driven approach to solving complex client challenges.
- Generate profitable revenue by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients.
- Influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for major change initiatives and/or decisions.
- Encourage and facilitate collaboration among team members and promote an inclusive working environment.
- Understand human resources opportunities, challenges, and issues in at least one of the sectors served (e.g., Oil & Gas, Health, Telecommunications).
- Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients.
- Passionate about advancing the People Consulting practice by leading the development of thought leadership and EY approaches, tools, and methodologies in organization design.
- Coach and develop teams and colleagues, acting as a visible role model for our people.
- Relevant professional service experience, with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy providing exposure to large‑scale projects.
- Around 6‑9 years of experience in Operating Model Development, Organizational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, Organizational Assessment, and Governance.
- Experience leading organization design engagements in functional domains such as supply chain, IT, finance, customer, sales & marketing, and working in large multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Proven track record in managing and analyzing large datasets and using analytics in project execution, with expertise in digital assets for org. design projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of business, human resources, or psychology.
- Willingness to travel as needed and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with approximately three (3) days per week at a client site or EY office.
