Position Summary
As a Personal Training Leader, you will lead a team of Fitness Professionals through their career at Life Time. You will supervise all revenue departments and team members within Life Time Training, oversee hiring and maintain a desired staff size of 15-50 professionals, drive key company initiatives, and manage budget and P&L. You will ensure all Fitness Professionals are certified in the LT Method through our Core 3 philosophy.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Lead the Personal Training team to deliver an exceptional member experience and achieve revenue goals
- Develop and oversee safe, professional, and engaging personal training programs
- Manage team performance, hiring, and onboarding processes
- Handle administrative and operational responsibilities for the Personal Training department
- Conduct personal training sessions to set an example and meet member needs
- Lead team communication and departmental collaboration
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Years of Experience
- 3 years of personal training experience at Life Time
- 2 to 3 years of experience in sales and program design
- 2 years of leadership or supervisory role within the fitness industry
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
- Certified Personal Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified within six months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field
