Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Leader to join our growing team in Irvine, CA!

We're looking for a leader who wants more than just managing a team. This is an opportunity to influence strategy, develop future leaders, drive operational excellence, and help shape the future of a growing Commercial Lines organization.

We're seeking a collaborative, business-minded Commercial Lines Leader who can build strong relationships, create accountability, and elevate performance across a high-performing commercial insurance team.

• Lead and develop Commercial Lines managers and service teams across multiple locations.
• Drive operational excellence, consistency, and service quality throughout the organization.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives and support business growth.
• Mentor and develop future leaders through coaching, training, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and client teams to enhance customer experience and identify growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners and key internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted leader and resource for complex client and operational matters.

• 7+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.
• Experience with in a retail insurance brokerage environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams, managers, or large-scale operations.
• Strong understanding of Commercial Lines workflows, client service, and operational best practices.
• Ability to lead through influence, build consensus, and drive results.
• Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

• Commercial Lines Operations Manager, Director, AVP, VP, or Department Leader experience.
• Experience leading leaders and developing management teams.
• Middle Market Commercial Lines expertise.
• Active California insurance license (or ability to obtain).

Pay Range: $175k-$210k - DOE

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
