Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector II to join our team and help ensure our products meet the highest quality and performance standards. In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with engineering and production teams to inspect machined, fabricated, and assembled parts using precision measuring tools and advanced inspection equipment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technical drawings, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to grow their skills in quality inspection and measurement systems.
Responsibilities- Interpret engineering drawings, source control drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to determine inspection criteria and measurement methods
- Inspect and measure materials, components, and finished products to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications
- Perform dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, rulers, and other precision measuring tools
- Conduct visual inspections with and without microscopes to identify defects or nonconformances
- Accurately document inspection results and clearly identify and reject nonconforming materials or products
- Communicate inspection findings with supervisors, engineers, and production teams and support corrective actions
- Enter and maintain inspection records within the ERP system
- Create and update inspection reports based on engineering drawings and quality requirements
- Learn to operate advanced inspection equipment such as Optical Comparators, CMMs, and Vision Inspection Systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with computers and Microsoft Office
- Solid math skills, including understanding tolerances and sampling plans
- Experience using hand measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of related experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a similar environment
- Additional training or coursework in Quality or Inspection preferred
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification is a plus
- Stable, hands-on role with exposure to advanced inspection technologies

Physical Requirements
This role is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and airborne particles. Noise levels are typically moderate.
The position requires regular attendance and may involve sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements. Candidates must be able to routinely lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs with assistance. Normal vision (including color vision), hearing, and manual dexterity are required. Occasional work outside standard business hours may be needed.
