Assembly Technician

Assembly Technician | $23/hr | 4x10 Schedule (Mon-Thurs, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM)

Location: Irvine, CA

We're seeking a hands‑on Assembly Technician to join a small, fast‑moving team building mechanical "toaster‑style" medical devices–larger components with plug‑and‑play assembly. No cable splicing, no catheters, and no tubing.

• Perform mechanical assembly on mid‑sized electro‑mechanical devices
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues independently
• Use basic Excel skills to accurately enter and transfer data
• Collaborate effectively within a small, self‑sufficient production team

• 1‑5 years of assembly experience (CGMP preferred; medical device not required)
• Strong mechanical aptitude; backgrounds in automotive, aerospace, engineering, or mechanical assembly are ideal
• Computer literate with the ability to complete data entry in Excel
• Ability to troubleshoot using error messages and logical problem‑solving
• Bonus if familiar with tools such as multimeters, torque drivers, pipettes, light meters, temperature data loggers, laser collimation tools, oscilloscopes, or ESD equipment
