2nd Shift Medical Device Assembler – Aerotek, Irvine, CA
We are seeking dedicated and detail‑oriented individuals to join our team as 2nd Shift Assemblers. These positions are contract-to-hire and candidates should be aware that the transition to permanent status may take longer than one year. Flexibility to work weekdays and Saturdays as needed is essential.
Responsibilities- Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Project Engineer/Supervisor.
- Provide hands‑on job function training to coworkers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience with microscopes.
- Small part assembly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work with microscopes 90% of the shift.
- Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Skills & Qualifications
- Medical device assembly experience.
- Experience working in cleanroom environments.
- Proficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, calipers, and micrometers.
This position requires working in a manufacturing environment, specifically in a cleanroom 100% of the time. You will be working in close proximity to other stations and must adhere to cleanroom protocols.
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $21.00 - $22.50/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
