Become a Key Player as an Electromechanical Assembler 2
You will perform electronic and electromechanical assembly on production lines to help the team deliver reliable, high-quality electromechanical subassemblies. You will work primarily onsite on a first shift schedule (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM), collaborating with Quality, Production Control, and Engineering to meet production targets and maintain process standards. Your work directly impacts product integrity and downstream testing.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform semi-repetitive to repetitive electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly tasks
- Work under microscopes for extended periods to assemble small parts and piezoelectric crystals
- Execute intermediate cable harness and PCB assembly techniques, soldering, epoxy mixing, bonding, and high-voltage potting/testing
- Follow ESD controls, resistance welding procedures, and assembly/packaging techniques
- Read basic blueprints and work instructions; log work orders and time using basic computer systems
- Operate winding/braiding machinery, torque wrenches, digital multimeters, soldering irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, and microscopes
- High school diploma or GED
- Three (3) or more years of related electronics assembly experience
- Experience assembling under the microscope and handling small parts
- Familiarity with ESD controls, soldering, epoxy mixing, bonding, and high-voltage testing
- Ability to read basic blueprints and follow written work instructions
- Basic computer skills to log work orders and access timecards
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds and meet close/color/peripheral vision requirements
- J-STD-001 Certification preferred
$18.90 - $25.20/hour
