Die Forging Technician; Weekend-2nd Shift

ATI is a global manufacturer of technically advanced specialty materials and complex components. Our Irvine, CA location plays a vital role in our Forged Products division by producing jet engine components for aerospace customers.

We are currently seeking a forging technician to support press operators in the forging process of high-performance materials used in jet engine components for the aerospace industry. A successful forging technician works collaboratively with the team, possesses a continuous improvement mindset, and can accurately execute written work instructions.

• Preparing metal stock for forging, positioning hot metal stock on hot dies, and extracting hot forgings from dies
• Completing quality assurance and part tracking documentation
• Preparing thermocouple wiring
• Operating a forklift following safe work practices
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervision

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to read, comprehend, and execute written instructions
• Heavy lifting capability
• Dedication to safe work practices

• Previous experience in a related field
• Forklift experience
• Quality assurance experience
• Mechanically inclined

Hourly pay rate: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Weekend shift (Fri‑Sun): 4 pm–5 am
