This position begins as a temporary assignment with the intent to convert to a regular full‑time employee after approximately 90 days, based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
JOB SUMMARYMust be available to work over 40 hours per week, including weekends, to meet increased workloads or deadlines as needed. Reliable attendance and punctuality are critical to ensure the daily output goals.
Responsible for washing, deburring, polishing, and steam cleaning parts. Adhere to all safety, health, rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by management. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
JOB DUTIES- Follows work instructions for specified parts.
- Cleans parts before deburring or polishing.
- Deburr/Polish parts to remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects.
- Identify and report surface flaws, burrs or dimensional inaccuracies to Lead or management.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
- Completes and maintains paperwork with good documentation practices.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Attention to detail is essential for inspecting and identifying surface defects or flaws. Able to interpret drawings and work instructions. Must be able to use all equipment and tools involved in the process of parts or be trained.
ACCOUNTABILITIES- Ensure all parts are defect free and meet visual appearance standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and “audit-ready” work area.
No specific formal education is required.
INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATIONS SKILLSAbility to work effectively with others, to achieve production goals and maintain quality standards. Ability to complete clear and accurate production records, labor entries, and quality data documents.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to read, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions. Ability to notice when a process is likely to go wrong before the defect happens.
LANGUAGE SKILLSComprehension of the English language necessary.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTSAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive work. Manual dexterity is necessary to use polishing/deburring tools.
