Job Title:

Clean Room Assembler / Medical Device Assembler

Join a cutting‑edge medical device manufacturer as a Clean Room Assembler, where you will build advanced urinary catheters and related components in a controlled environment. You will assemble precision parts, work under a microscope, and follow strict clean room and quality guidelines to help produce safe, reliable products used in patient care. This is a first‑shift role (5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) with overtime available after the shift as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble printed circuit board assemblies (PCB-A) and small components in a clean room environment, following established procedures.
  • Assemble catheters and related medical devices under a microscope to ensure precision, accuracy, and consistent quality.
  • Follow clean room guidelines at all times and maintain a sterile, organized, and safe work area.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and technical documents to perform accurate assembly work.
  • Inspect finished products visually and under magnification to ensure they meet all quality and specification standards.
  • Use glue or epoxies as required during assembly, following handling and curing instructions carefully.
  • Support laser welding operations as needed by preparing parts, handling components, or assisting with related tasks.
  • Connect devices via Bluetooth and run tests using software, following step‑by‑step instructions on a computer.
  • Document work as required and communicate any defects, issues, or process deviations to the appropriate team members.
  • Collaborate with a small team to maintain an efficient workflow and achieve daily production and quality goals.
  • Assist with packaging of medical devices, ensuring proper handling, labeling, and presentation for shipment.
  • Work independently when assigned individual tasks while contributing positively to a team‑based environment.
Essential Skills
  • Previous experience in medical device assembly or a closely related assembly role, with at least 2 years of medical device assembly experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and technical documents.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a clean room environment and following strict clean room guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to product quality and patient safety.
  • Excellent hand‑eye coordination and fine manual dexterity for working with very small parts and components.
  • Comfort working under a microscope for extended periods to perform precise assembly tasks.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team to meet production and quality targets.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to follow software instructions and perform simple testing tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working with glue or epoxies in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
  • Any exposure to laser welding processes in a production or assembly setting.
  • Experience with medical assembly, including handling sterile or sensitive components.
  • Familiarity with packaging medical devices or similarly regulated products.
  • Comfort using microscopes similar to modern ergonomic models designed to reduce eye strain.
  • Confidence using computers, including connecting devices via Bluetooth and running test software.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset suited to a small, growing team.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving processes and contribute to continuous improvement in a growing operation.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
