- 10/4 work structure (5:30am to 4:30pm, 1 hour break, Monday - Thursday)
- $23 - $27 per hour (depending on experience)

As a Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly and testing of complex biomedical products. You’ll work across multiple work cells, supporting production targets while ensuring the highest levels of quality, compliance and workmanship.
This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical technician who enjoys hands‑on manufacturing in a regulated environment and thrives in a collaborative, quality‑driven culture.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble complex medical and biomedical products in line with work instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), and production orders.
- Perform advanced product testing and qualification per approved procedures.
- Work across multiple assembly cells to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Accurately record manufacturing and Device History Record (DHR) data.
- Identify issues, defects, or non‑conformances and elevate them appropriately.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and good documentation practices.
- Support training and onboarding of new manufacturing team members.
- Participate in non‑conformance investigations and continuous improvement activities.
- Conduct inventory management tasks including cycle counts, stocktakes and incoming inspections.
- Apply 5S and safe work practices, including PPE compliance.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and general production support duties.
- Comply with Planet Innovation policies, procedures and international quality standards.
- 2–5 years of experience in complex mechanical product assembly and testing (medical device or regulated industry experience preferred, but not essential).
- Ability to read, interpret and follow detailed manufacturing documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and compliance.
- Experience using ERP systems and computer‑based production records and Excel.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment.
- Hands‑on skills with hand and power tools, machinery and testing equipment.
- A pro‑active mindset with the ability to identify issues and suggest improvements.
- This is a temporary position initially, with the potential of moving to permanent.
