Position Summary
Clean, mask, paint, shrink fit, stress relieve, identify parts and maintain paint boot (e filters as needed, keep accurate records). Keep up to date log books on paint, oven, and other areas as required. Maintain adequate paint supplies to support production needs. Monitor and keep records on cure dates.
Essential Job Functions- Mask and paint as required per blueprint, sketches and verbal orders.
- Shrink fit using oven as required per blueprint, sketches and verbal orders.
- Furnace cure as required per blueprint or as required per military specifications.
- Meet aesthetic requirements defined by customer.
Skills and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, qualifications, competencies, abilities and any physical demands if required.
- Read and interpret complex blueprint notes and insignia as related to paint, proper logging of time and temperature as recorded on furnace charts. Must have vast experience in mixtures of various types of aircraft quality paints. Must have a full understanding of paint, thinner and catalyst mix ratios, slack time and cure times.

- High school diploma or GED
- 2 - 3 years of practical experience

- Occasionally required to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
- Safety glasses, shop coat/apron, proper shoes.
- Occasional exposure to shop element such as noise, dust, odors and fumes.
- All ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys, fibers and plastics.
- Paint, thinner, masking tape, paint spray equipment, furnace charts, identification equipment and log books.
- Machinists’ hand tools, precision measuring instruments and variety of gages.
- Compressed air, paint sprayers, tape, knives, solvents, oven and other related accessories.

Competitive Compensation- Pay Range: $24/hr to $34.7/hr
