Material Handler

Introduction

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Material Handler position. This position is a 7 month + contract opportunity that is fully onsite in Irvine, CA. First Shift, 8AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday.

In this position, you will be processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by team leader.

• Receive incoming Materials utilizing SAP. Inspect for damage, verify quantity and correct paperwork.
• Process material to be shipped to our customers around the world. Stock Materials and pull Materials from stock.
• Ensure Materials for shipment are packaged properly.
• Locate and count Materials in support of cycle counting/inventory.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks on a regular basis.
• Capable of working flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be flexible and willing to work any area in Materials as necessary.

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver License.
• 2+ years of experience operating forklifts and hand trucks.
• 2+ years of Warehouse, Logistics or similar experience.
• 1+ year of ERP experience.
• 2+ years of Excel / Word.

• Schedule:
  
  First Shift, 8AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday.
• 1+ year of SAP experience.
• 5+ years on Excel.
• 2+ years of inventory control, loss prevention or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of shipping & receiving experience.
