R&D Technician

Johnson & Johnson is rapidly expanding and is immediately hiring a qualified R&D Technician to support production demand and new product development.

Position Summary:

Develop innovative technologies and products for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. Support activities related to Research and Development engineering and prototyping services for Biosense Webster's Core Technologies group.

Job Title: R&D Medical Device Technician Pay Rate: $30-$33 Hourly (depending on skills assessment test) Shift starts between 8:00 AM-9:30 AM PDT

Job Responsibilities/ Requirements:

  • Hands-On Assembly:
    Participate in hands-on assembly, work majority under microscope under prolonged period. Must demonstrate hands-on skills from daily work.
  • Inventory Management:
    Support inventory supervision, proactively stocking materials, and fulfilling material requests to ensure smooth operations.
  • Traceability Documentation:
    Maintain accurate product assembly records for traceability, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Quality Assurance Checks:
    Document regular equipment checks to ensure functionality and maintain product integrity.
  • Safety and Cleanliness:
    Ensure a clean and safe testing environment by adhering to company and industrial safety standards.

Qualification:

  • High School Diploma required with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an R&D technician (or relevant experience) in the medical device industry
  • Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and laboratory practices
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Proficient with MS Office, excel, word, and can write email
  • Comfortable working in a clean room and/or lab environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all cross-functional team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.
  • Employee may be required to lift objects up to 25lbs
