Digital Print Operator

• Operate inkjet, laser, xerographic, or offset duplicating printers.
• RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and delivery manifests.
• Set up, program, and release jobs from print queue.
• Adjust image position, perforations, and folds on paper as needed.
• Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets, rollers, paper, tabs, and other items as needed while maintaining inventory levels.

• In-depth knowledge of equipment set up, adjustment, and operating procedures, and the skill to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting quality and timeliness of service or product.
• Capability to instruct junior level operators on corrective adjustments.
• Capability to consider symptoms, possible causes, and remedies when performing corrective adjustments.

The national pay range for this role is $19.00 – $27.16 per hour, which may vary based on geographic location, education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
