Planner will be responsible for executing master production schedules to meet customer service, inventory, and configuration management goals. Ensures smooth material flow through planning, scheduling, and control of production requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, issue, and manage production schedules and material requirements
- Maintain accurate BOMs, item master data, and configuration control
- Monitor material availability, shortages, WIP, and production risks
- Create work orders and purchase requests to support production needs
- Coordinate material movement across internal teams and suppliers
- Expedite parts to meet shipping and delivery timelines
- Analyze inventory, scrap, and shortages; recommend improvements
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, QA, Purchasing, and Supply Chain
- Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
- Ensure compliance with aerospace, regulatory, and company standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- 1+ year experience in manufacturing/production planning (entry-level acceptable)
- Knowledge of MRP systems, BOM, and manufacturing operations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret data, reports, and production schedules
- CPIM certification preferred (not mandatory)
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods (JIT, pull systems, etc.)
