Production Assembler 2 (Electronics)
As an Electronic Assembler 2 at Parker DSD, you will independently perform assembly tasks including PC board assembly, soldering, harness building and electromechanical assembly, ensuring each step meets quality specifications. You will follow established procedures, work under general supervision, and take responsibility for the quality and output of your work.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Electronic Assembler Level 2, you will be responsible for assembling and testing various components and products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Good understanding of ESD controls, epoxy mixing, bonding, painting, and basic assembly techniques.
- Intermediate harness and PCB assembly, advanced heat‑shrinking, and lacing cord.
- Masking, de‑masking, basic heat shrink, wire winding, and basic lacing cord; conformal coating (e.g., Humi Seal dunk/spray), spray paint, epoxy, bonding, labeling/ink marking.
- Perform more specific assembly tasks and comprehend written and verbal instructions.
This role requires access to export‑controlled technical data. Consistent with 22 C.F.R. §120.15, candidates must be ‘U.S. Persons’ (e.g., U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident).
- High school diploma or GED, and 2 to 6 years of related experience and/or training. J STD‑001, IPC A‑610, and IPC/WHMA A‑620 certifications preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; communicate in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percentage; interpret drawings, work instructions, and schematics.
- Apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions; handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Operate soldering irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, and heat guns.

Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule- Competitive Compensation: Pay Range: $18.90/hr to $31.50/hr;
