Summary / Objective
Medical Device implant manufacturer in Irvine is seeking applicants with manufacturing experience to join their team! This position will primarily perform precision assembly requiring attention to detail, initiative, working well within a team, and ability to produce consistently high‑quality results while using a microscope in a cleanroom environment.
Job Details- Job Type: Full time, Contract to Hire
- Pay: $19.00 - $20.00/hr
- Shift: Friday – Sunday 5:00am – 5:30pm
- Support company goals, objectives, policies and procedures;
Good Manufacturing Practices; FDA regulations, including compliance to EN ISO 13485 and medical device quality standards. - Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental policies and procedures (DOPs), objectives, the quality assurance program, and safety and environmental standards.
- Establish, build and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of staff, clients, and suppliers.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, meet deadlines, and continually demonstrate proficiency in new equipment and processes.
- Read and interpret manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures and comply with their requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and monitor own work to maintain quality and advocate good safety practices.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Minimum 6 months of recent manufacturing experience (medical device manufacturing preferred).
- Experience in FDA/GMP/ISO environment preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a medical device environment ideally preferred.
Works in a lab, cleanroom and warehouse environment, within a well‑lit work area with good ventilation and normal noise levels from lab, shop equipment and cleanroom. Sitting or standing at a production workstation with frequent walking; intermittent writing or keyboard use.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; see, talk or hear. Requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must wear personal protective equipment as required.
