Now Hiring: Machinist

Location: Irvine, CA

Pay: $33.94 per hour

Hours: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM | Monday - Friday | 2nd Shift

The Must-Haves Before You Clock In
  • Minimum 5 years of machining/tooling experience
  • Strong experience with CNC machining (setup and operation required; basic programming preferred)
  • At least 1 year of CNC experience (combination with manual machining acceptable)
  • Solid manual machining experience
  • Experience with tool sharpening, mold repair, and tooling maintenance
  • Background in heavy machining environments
  • Ability to work with materials such as steel, aluminum, and other metals
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

The Day to Day
  • Sharpen, maintain, and repair cutting tools, dies, and fixtures to meet production specifications
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines and conventional/manual machining equipment
  • Perform mold repair, modification, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Fabricate precision parts and components using milling, turning, grinding, and drilling processes
  • Support heavy machining operations and complex part fabrication
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Measure and inspect finished parts using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators)
  • Maintain tooling inventory and recommend replacements or process improvements
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
