Position Summary

The Production Technician is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, monitoring product quality, and supporting efficient production processes in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately, and in accordance with established quality standards and production schedules. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment while meeting operational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Operate manufacturing machinery and production equipment in accordance with established procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
  • Perform production activities to meet daily production schedules, volume targets, quality standards, and efficiency goals.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials or products.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and reduce product rejects.
  • Complete and maintain accurate production documentation, records, and logs.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
  • Assist with setup, changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenance activities as required.
  • Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, and process improvements to supervisors and team members.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
  • May provide training, guidance, or support to less experienced team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, production, assembly, or related industrial experience.
  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work the designated night shift schedule and overtime as business needs require.
