The Autoclave Washroom Technician works in a cleanroom environment, washing and handling medical devices using large industrial sink and wash equipment. This role involves standing for extended periods, working autonomously, and safely managing devices that can weigh up to 40–50 pounds when filled.

Responsibilities- Wash and clean medical devices using large industrial, kitchen-style sinks and related wash equipment.
- Handle medical devices that may weigh up to 40–50 pounds when filled, following safe lifting and handling practices.
- Maintain strict cleanroom protocols, including proper hygiene and contamination control procedures.
- Operate dishwashing and autoclave-related equipment as part of the cleaning and sterilization process.
- Inspect devices before and after washing to ensure cleanliness and readiness for subsequent processing.
- Organize, stage, and move devices and materials efficiently within the washroom and cleanroom areas.
- Follow written work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Work independently to manage daily cleaning workloads and meet productivity and quality expectations.
- Keep the washroom and surrounding work areas clean, orderly, and compliant with facility standards.
- Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems promptly to the appropriate contacts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work on your feet for the full shift in a cleanroom environment.
- Capability to safely lift, carry, and handle items weighing up to 40–50 pounds.
- Comfort working with industrial sink and dishwashing equipment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict procedures.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and contamination control.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment.
- washing, cleaning, or dishwashing roles using industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with medical devices or similar regulated products.
- Basic understanding of safety and ergonomic best practices for material handling.
- Reliability and consistency in meeting quality and productivity expectations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
