Military Flight Controls Division Supporting aircraft worldwide, Parker Aerospace's Military Flight Controls Division (MFCD) provides primary and secondary flight control systems that make flight possible. Tested, proven and trusted in commercial and military applications for decades, MFCD provides precise position-control actuation solutions for military aircraft across the United States and with foreign partners. The division's Jet Pipe electrohydraulic servo valve (EHSV) technology is used across commercial and military aircraft around the world.

Headquartered in Irvine, California, the Military Flight Controls Division is the global leader in fly-by-wire flight control systems and electrohydraulic products and offers the world's most advanced motor design capabilities for flight controls.

Position Summary:

Clean, mask, paint, shrink fit, stress relive, identify parts and maintain paint boot (e filters as needed, keep accurate records). Keep up to date log books on paint, oven, and other areas as required. Maintain adequate paint supplies to support production needs. Monitor and keep records on cure dates.

Essential Job Functions:

* Mask and paint as required per blueprint, sketches and verbal orders.

* Shrink fit using oven as required per blueprint, sketches and verbal orders.

* Furnace cure as required per blueprint or as required per military specifications.

* Meet aesthetic requirements defined by customer

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, qualifications, competencies, abilities and any physical demands if required.

* Read and interpret complex blueprint notes and insignia as related to paint, proper logging of time and temperature as recorded on furnace charts. Must have vast experience in mixtures of various types of aircraft quality paints. Must have a full understanding of paint, thinner and catalyst mix ratios, slack time and cure times.

* Punctual.

* Organized.

* Detailed.

* High level of accuracy.

* Able to work with minimal supervision.

* Customer service driven. Willing to work overtime when needed.

* Able to manage multiple tasks.

* Professional conduct at all times.

Education, Experiences, Certificates/Licenses and/or Registrations:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level, education, training, minimum years of experience, product or industry knowledge plus any certifications in order to be considered.

* High school diploma or GED

* 2 - 3 years of practical experience

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

* Occasionally required to lift up to 30 lbs.

* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.

* Safety glasses, shop coat/apron, proper shoes.

* Occasional exposure to shop element such as noise, dust, odors and fumes.
