Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role requires a meticulous and innovative individual who can effectively interpret blueprints, operate CNC lathes and mills, and utilize TRUMPF Laser Cutting technology. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Quartz Machining and Manual Inspection. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to work with a team of seasoned professionals in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Interpreting and utilizing complex blueprints and schematics to perform tasks.
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts.
- Utilizing TRUMPF Laser Cutting technology for various manufacturing processes.
- Conducting quartz machining operations with precision and efficiency.
- Performing manual inspections of parts to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
- Troubleshooting issues with machinery and equipment, and performing necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimize workflow and improve manufacturing processes.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Keeping detailed records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Continually updating knowledge and skills in line with technological advancements in the field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a CNC Programmer Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in blueprint reading, CNC lathe operation, CNC mill operation, TRUMPF Laser Cutting, and Quartz Machining.
- Proficiency in manual inspection and quality control procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using computer software for programming and design.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in CNC programming or a related field preferred.
