Clean Room Assembler (Medical Device)

This role focuses on assembling advanced medical devices, including urinary catheters and printed circuit board assemblies, in a clean room environment on the first shift. You will work with microscopes and small components, follow detailed technical documentation, and uphold strict quality and cleanliness standards while collaborating with a small, growing team.

• Assemble printed circuit board assemblies (PCB-A) and small components in a clean room environment with high precision.
• Assemble catheters under a microscope, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and product quality.
• Follow established clean room guidelines and maintain a sterile, organized work area at all times.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and related documentation to perform assembly tasks correctly.
• Inspect finished products to verify they meet all quality standards and specifications.
• Package medical devices and related components according to defined procedures.
• Use computer-based tools and software to connect devices via Bluetooth and perform testing as required.
• Handle and apply glue, epoxies, and other materials safely and accurately during assembly processes.
• Support laser welding operations as needed, following instructions and safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and meet production goals.
• Work both independently and as part of a small team to complete daily tasks and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Adhere to all company procedures, safety rules, and clean room protocols throughout the shift.

• Minimum of 2 years of medical device assembly experience in a clean room or similar regulated environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail with a consistent commitment to product quality and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a clean room environment and follow strict cleanliness and procedural guidelines.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine manual dexterity for working with small parts and components.
• Comfort working with microscopes for extended periods to perform detailed assembly and inspection tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively to a team.
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to connect devices via Bluetooth and run tests using software.
• Experience handling materials such as glue or epoxies in a production or assembly setting.
• Familiarity with or exposure to laser welding processes in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

• Experience with medical assembly and packaging procedures.
• Knowledge of clean room guidelines and best practices in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Comfort using modern ergonomic microscopes designed to reduce eye strain.
• Ability to rate and improve personal computer confidence and skills over time.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating within a small team setting.
• Willingness to learn new tools, equipment, and software related to medical device testing and assembly.

This role is based in a clean room environment, working on first shift from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with overtime available after the shift as needed. You will work in a small group of about six people, with the team expected to grow over the year. Workstations are located close to each other to facilitate collaboration, and you may choose to sit or stand while working.
