Medical Device Production Specialist

Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour

Location:

Irvine, CA

Hours:

Mon-Fri, 3pm to 11:30pm

Summary:

Responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on medical catheters under close supervision.
• Maintain compliance and quality while performing routine assignments according to standardized procedures.
• Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly.
• Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
• Follow safety guidelines while onsite.
• Maintain accurate documentation to ensure all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed.

Requirements:

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts under a microscope.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to perform repeated tasks such as grabbing, pinching, pulling, and twisting.

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience in manual assembling of medical devices.
• Ability to assemble and use tools under a microscope for long periods of time.
• Experience in hand soldering.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to maintain written and electronic documentation.
