Position Title:Production Manager ATP/ Ground check

Position Summary:DZYNE Technologies is seeking a high-caliber Production Manager to lead the execution of acceptance-test procedures (ATP) and ground checks for assigned unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) product lines. Reporting directly to Manufacturing, this role acts as the single point of accountability for product flow, schedule adherence, and delivery performance. You will manage day-to-day operations for R&D, low-rate initial production (LRIP), and demo avionics builds, while leading the strategic transition into full-rate manufacturing.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on manufacturing leadership with strong technical acumen, thriving in a fast-paced Aerospace/Defense environment where they seamlessly bridge the gap between operations and engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Test Execution & Operations
- ATP Planning:
Schedule and lead system-level Acceptance Test Procedures to guarantee flight hardware meets strict design and mission requirements. - Lab Management:
Oversee daily operations of the test lab, scaling infrastructure and automating test procedures to maximize throughput. - Root-Cause Analysis:
Direct cross-disciplinary investigations to resolve hardware, software, or system anomalies discovered during testing.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
Interface across Programs, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure technical alignment. - Daily Management:
Lead daily tier meetings and production reviews to drive continuous improvement using lean tools. - Blocker Resolution:
Interpret complex engineering data, maintain strict configuration control, and proactively resolve build bottlenecks. - Performance Tracking:
Monitor metrics including work-in-progress (WIP), throughput, on-time delivery, and internal lead-time.
- People Management:
Manage, mentor, and guide a high-performing technical staff of test engineers, specialists, and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Experience:6+ years in aerospace production, avionics environments, or environmental testing.
- Leadership:4+ years in a formal manufacturing leadership or technical program management role.
- Compliance:Deep knowledge of aerospace quality standards, safety guidelines, and configuration management.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and flow-based production.
- Direct experience with prototype builds, New Product Introduction (NPI), and production ramp activities.
- Proven ability to work across functional boundaries and influence without authority.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and master production scheduling.
- Bachelor's degree, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred

Working Conditions:Environments vary from a standard climate-controlled office to active warehouse and test facilities.
Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand, stoop, climb, and occasionally lift a minimum of 30 lbs. Requires movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.
Work Authorization Requirement:Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
Salary:$135,000 - $155,00 annually
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
