The Programmatic Campaign Manager owns the end-to-end delivery and performance of all campaigns under an assigned sales team. This role is responsible for ensuring campaigns launch accurately, deliver in full, meet client KPIs, and are reconciled efficiently through post-campaign billing.
You will manage all aspects of campaign implementation and execution from receipt of insertion order through billing completion, maintaining a high standard of operational excellence and proactive performance management.
Partnering closely with Account Managers and Sales, you will communicate daily to monitor pacing and KPI attainment, identify risks early, and implement strategic optimizations to drive measurable results. You will also collaborate with Media Strategy and Analytics teams to develop and execute data-driven optimization strategies across your book of business.
Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, ownership mentality, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
THE DAY-TO-DAY- Own campaign execution from IO receipt through final billing reconciliation
- Launch, QA, and monitor programmatic campaigns to ensure accuracy and alignment with client objectives
- Track pacing and performance daily to ensure full delivery and KPI attainment
- Identify and proactively communicate delivery or performance risks, along with recommended solutions
- Run and analyze reports across the Viant DSP, ad servers, and third-party measurement platforms
- Reconcile discrepancies between client-reported and platform-reported data
- Prepare performance updates and insights for internal stakeholders
- Partner with Media Strategy and Analytics teams to implement and refine optimization strategies
- Communicate regularly with Account Managers and Sales on campaign health and status
- Complete monthly billing reports and ensure revenue accuracy
- 1+ year of digital media experience required
- 1+ year of hands‑on programmatic campaign execution experience preferred
- Strong understanding of campaign pacing, KPI optimization, and performance analysis
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
- Experience with Salesforce, Asana, or similar CRM platforms preferred
- Comfortable working within proprietary and custom software systems

$60,000 - $75,000 a year
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
