About the RolePalette of Hope is looking for a Lead of Partnerships & Outreach to help build relationships with schools, artists, student organizations, galleries, nonprofits, and potential sponsors. This role is focused on expanding Palette of Hope's network and creating strong collaborations for future art-based fundraising events. The Lead will identify partners, send outreach messages, follow up professionally, and build relationships that support our mission.
Responsibilities- Research and contact potential partners including high schools, art schools, art clubs, student organizations, local galleries, OC nonprofits, and community groups.
- Reach out to schools for possible collaborations, student involvement, event partnerships, or awareness campaigns.
- Contact local artists, art clubs, and creative communities who may be interested in supporting events or donating work.
- Build relationships with community organizations that align with girls’ education, youth empowerment, arts, or global advocacy.
- Identify and reach out to potential sponsors, donors, small businesses, and local supporters.
- Draft and send outreach emails, Linked In messages, and partnership proposals.
- Track outreach progress, responses, follow-ups, and partnership opportunities.
- Work closely with the founder and event team to connect partners with upcoming fundraising events.
- Help create a professional and welcoming experience for partners, sponsors, and collaborators.
- Strong interest in nonprofit work, community outreach, partnerships, education, art, or social impact.
- Comfortable communicating through email, Linked In, and online messages.
- Organized and able to keep track of contacts, responses, and follow-ups.
- Professional, respectful, and confident when reaching out to new people or organizations.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to help build a startup nonprofit from the ground up.
- Prior experience in club leadership, volunteering, outreach, fundraising, student organizations, or community service is helpful but not required.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Experience with email outreach, sponsorship outreach, or community engagement.
- Interest in working with schools, artists, nonprofits, or local businesses.
- Basic Google Sheets or spreadsheet experience for tracking outreach.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Experience writing professional messages, proposals, or collaboration requests.
- Interest in girls’ education, child marriage prevention, art-based advocacy, or youth empowerment.
Approximately 3–5 hours per week
, with additional time during event planning periods, sponsorship outreach, or partnership campaigns.
This role gives students and early-career volunteers hands‑on experience in nonprofit leadership, event planning, fundraising, community outreach, and mission‑driven project management. Volunteers will help build creative fundraising experiences that support girls’ education and raise awareness about child marriage prevention.
