Position: RN - SICU - Full Time Night

RN – ICU at Providence Mission Hospital, Mission Viejo, CA

This position is Full-Time and will work 12-hour Night shifts.

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is a 20‑bed critical care unit specializing in neuro and trauma critical care management. It is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center, and cares for complex patients such as neuro/TBI/Stroke/spinal cord injuries, complex surgeries, trauma, and medical critical care patients.

Providence Mission Hospital has received Magnet designation in 2012, 2017, 2021 and is in the process of earning its fourth designation in 2025. This designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) recognizes organizations that provide the highest‑quality care. Only eight percent of hospitals nationwide have achieved Magnet designation. The hospital is also recognized as one of the best regional hospitals in 18 types of care by U.S. News & World Report, and honors include awards for cardiac surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and excellence in women's services by Health grades and Newsweek.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year nursing experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Posted are the minimum and maximum wage rates for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be determined by relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
