Staff Nurse – District Nursing (North Ayrshire District Nursing teams, Bourtreehill Health Centre).

As a Staff Nurse you will assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate nursing programmes of care for a variety of client groups within the community. You will manage the caseload in the absence of the district nursing Charge Nurse, supervise and redeploy staff, and work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful environment.

Professional qualification in nursing essential. You must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and be a lone worker within a variety of community settings. Evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training are required.

22.2 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a weekend commitment. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
