8‑hour shift, on call
Job Summary
The Administrator ensures regulatory compliance as mandated by licensing and Regional Centers. They oversee the health, well‑being, and safety of clients, communicate regularly with conservators and external agencies, manage staffing and labor hours to provide high‑quality care, and train and mentor direct support professionals.
Job Functions
- Maintain open communication with conservators, family, service coordinators, and other client representatives regarding client health, well‑being, and quality of life.
- Maintain appropriate staffing according to program design by hiring, training, scheduling staff, and delegating duties that best serve client and facility needs.
- Oversee daily operations including client note documentation, medication audits, financial disbursements, physical plant inspections, file maintenance, time‑card review, and performance evaluations.
- Attend trainings mandated by Regional Centers and communicate quality‑care assurance with staff.
- Maintain safety compliance to prevent staff and client injury.
- Coordinate resident care by scheduling medical appointments, following up on medical recommendations, and monitoring overall medical condition.
- Act as first responder for emergencies in the field and report incidents per regulations.
- Respond to on‑call duties as required.
- Perform related duties and assignments as necessary.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and related training as required by program design.
- Experience with IDD / developmental disabilities and Level 4I homes.
- Regional Center experience.
- Adult Residential Facility (ARF) and Group Home (GH) certifications.
- DSP I and DSP II certificates.
- CPR/FA and CPI certification.
Minimum Experience
- 3 years working with clients with developmental disabilities at Level 4I or higher homes.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
