Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant Care Plus Home Visits - Optum CA - Irvine

Optum is looking for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in Irvine, CA.

The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient's needs.

As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will play a key role in providing home visits, managing a patient volume of approximately eight per day (some telehealth), and contributing to a two‑component system of post‑discharge and primary care. You will provide medical guidance and treatment, and be comfortable prescribing medication.

• Strictly home visits
• Patient volume is 8 per day, some telehealth
• Program is a two‑component system (post discharge and care plus primary)
• Provide medical guidance and treatment, must be comfortable prescribing
• Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm
• No call, no weekends, no nights

• 2-3 years of experience preferred, new graduates welcome to apply
• Unrestricted California medical license
• California DEA certificate required prior to start date
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant school
• EMR proficiency

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 to $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
