Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists nursing professionals in providing routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents. The role includes supporting residents with personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, baths, bed baths, skin and nail care, oral hygiene, and other activities of daily living as outlined in each resident’s care plan.

• Provide daily physical and emotional support to residents, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional state, including vital signs and any abnormalities.

• Gather data relevant to residents’ care, working collaboratively with nursing staff to support individualized care plans.

• Perform other duties as directed by the nursing staff to promote resident well‑being and safety.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program.
• Fingerprint clearance and negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray.
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work flexible shift schedules, including 8‑hour shifts and weekends as needed.
