Description:
The position involves navigating patients through the healthcare system.
Work closely with designated physicians and physician assistants.
Responsibilities include patient education, medication instructions, and follow-up care.
Experience in managing charting and electronic medical records is essential.
Candidates must be able to handle busy phone lines and patient inquiries.
Coordination of care, including follow-up for biopsies and other procedures, is required.
Familiarity with general GI conditions, including Crohn's disease and Inflammatory Bowel Disease is preferred.
Ambulatory care experience is highly preferred but not required.
An ability to work in a collaborative environment with various healthcare professionals is expected.
Travel nursing experience is preferred but not essential.
