School Nurse Opportunity

• Current, valid LPN or LVN license.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or pediatric setting.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide effective first aid and manage chronic health conditions during school hours.
• Comfortable collaborating with students, staff, and families to meet health needs.
• Familiarity with documentation requirements and IEP/504 health-related accommodations is a plus.

• Administer daily medications, treatments, and emergency care as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Provide direct care for acute illnesses and injuries occurring during school hours.
• Support students with chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, asthma, allergies, or seizure disorders.
• Maintain accurate health records and document all interventions according to school policies.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to contribute to individualized health plans.
• Educate students and staff about health practices and prevention measures.
• Communicate health updates and concerns with parents or guardians as needed.
• Adhere to confidentiality standards and uphold ethical nursing practice at all times.
