Job SummaryThe Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) manages the front desk of the practice, providing patient and client support, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring cleanliness.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Greet clients enthusiastically and manage a multi-line phone system.
- Maintain accurate patient records using paperless software and follow hospital policies.
- Gather client and patient history; educate clients on annual care.
- Schedule appointments, confirm daily procedures/surgeries, and explain costs in a positive manner.
- Handle incoming emails, process online pharmacy orders, and provide timely responses.
- Ensure client and patient comfort, communicate wait times, and maintain professional service.
- Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and the practice manager to support high-quality care.
- Perform housekeeping and clean-up duties to keep all areas clean and stocked.
- Coordinate with the Practice Manager on client issues, repairs, and equipment needs.
- Veterinary industry experience preferred but not required
- Minimum of two years of work experience in customer service
- Proficient with MS Office software; familiarity with veterinary practice management software preferred
- Ability to multi-task while managing high call volumes
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Process end-of-day cash calculation
- Comfortable around all companion animals
$18-$20/hr depending on skillset and experience.
