Become a Key Player as a Document Control Specialist
You will ensure controlled documents are accurate, consistent, and compliant, enabling smooth operations and audits. You’ll work closely with the team and stakeholders in a defense site environment, supporting first-shift onsite operations. Your contributions will directly support quality and regulatory practices for the organization.
Responsibilities- Update and format procedures, work instructions, and forms using Word, Excel, and Visio
- Maintain logs and trackers in Excel to support traceability
- Create and update process flowcharts, tables, and forms
- Perform document audits including formatting, proofreading, and reference verification
- Apply version control, numbering, and change tracking
- Support document release, distribution, and archival processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience with document editing and version control
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Document control or quality systems experience (ISO 9001 / AS9100)
- Exposure to audits or regulated environments
$21.20 - $30.00/hour
