Exciting Inspection Technician development opportunity to work for a global leader dedicated to helping people see brilliantly. The largest device company in the world – with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care Inspection Technician I (Contract, 18 months)- 9/80 working schedule:
- 9 hrs Mon-Thurs, 8 hr Fri, then 9 hrs Mon-Thurs again, and off every other Friday
- 7am start. So 7-4:30 on 9 hr days, 7-3:30 on 1st Fridays

The Inspection Technician Associate performs incoming quality inspections of surgical instrumentation components and materials to ensure they meet engineering specifications and established AQL standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, and materials for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and GD&T requirements.
- Identify defects, material discrepancies, and transit damage.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and order accuracy against purchasing documentation.
- Approve qualified parts for inventory stock locations while maintaining quality standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of relevant experience in inspection or quality.
- Strong English communication skills.
Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing inspection, repair, test, or quality with demonstrated hands‑on electromechanical testing preferred within a medical device industry.
- Proficiency using CMM, optical comparators, height gauges, V-blocks, thread gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
