As a QC Technician, you will support the testing and documentation needs of the Quality Control Department during the manufacture and release of Bio‑Rad control products. This position will work both independently and in a team‑oriented environment.
Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday.
Location:
Irvine, California (employee must be within commuting distance of the office).
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot QC laboratory instruments.
- Follow good laboratory practices.
- Order supplies and maintain instrument preventive maintenance schedule.
- Interface with other departments when required.
- Evaluate assay runs for accuracy and acceptability to Quality Control procedures.
- Enter results into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as required.
- Associate’s degree or higher in a science field or equivalent clinical lab experience.
- Experience working in QC or a clinical laboratory is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Systems and Good Documentation Practices (GDP); experience in clinical laboratory techniques and equipment. Experience running chemistry, hematology, and immunoassay analyzers is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) required; experience with a LIMS is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, remain flexible, manage time effectively, and work independently.

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $23.12 to $33.77. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer.
