Mon – Fri, 3:30pm – 12:00am,
OT Required
Overtime schedule, Mon – Fri, 3:30pm – 2:00am, some Saturdays available
What You Will Do:As a Quality Control Inspector III, you will perform advanced inspections, interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and support critical manufacturing decisions to ensure product quality and compliance. In this role, you'll act as a trusted technical resource, helping drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the inspection team.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections in support of manufacturing operations and production schedules.
- Conduct advanced and non-routine inspection activities, including first article inspections and special quality requests requiring interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Utilize inspection equipment including vision measurement systems, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other precision measuring devices to verify product conformance.
- Serve as a technical resource for the inspection team by providing guidance, troubleshooting inspection equipment and processes, and promoting adherence to quality standards.
- Support training activities, Digital Data Sheet specification reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review inspection documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and execute containment and disposition activities for nonconforming materials.
- Partner with Quality, Production, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues and maintain product flow.
- Prioritize daily activities to ensure timely completion of inspections while maintaining compliance and product quality standards.
- 2+ years of Quality Control experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA QSR, ISO 13485, GMP, GDP, or equivalent).
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Proficiency using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and vision measurement systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Experience with vision measurement systems such as Micro Vu, Keyence, Sun Poc, or similar technologies.
- Experience in the medical device, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
- CMM experience.
- Cleanroom experience.
- Experience mentoring, training, or providing technical guidance to peers.
- Experience with tensile and torque testing.
