ABOUT THE JOB:

Understanding Commercial Real Estate can be challenging. However, for Newmark it is our life. We breath Real Estate and understand the ebbs and flows of different properties. We are looking for new team members to join our growing Valuation & Advisory Property Tax team.

OUR PROCESS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES – Associate :

• Maintain the property tax database and ensure all information is accurately established, classified, and processed
• Keep track of relevant appeal deadlines and other due dates and communicate the same to supervisors and clients
• Assist in property tax reviews, analyses, appeals, forecasting, due diligence reports, and administrative tasks as needed
• Communicate analyses and findings to supervisors, clients, and assessing and taxing jurisdictions
• Active involvement in the management and expansion of client relationships
• Identify and pursue property tax prospects
• Communicate with other regional offices to deliver service to national clients
• Travel when necessary for client service obligations and business development opportunities

• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently
• Strong oral and written communication, presentation, relationship management, and interpersonal skills
• Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently on assigned projects and demonstrate a keen attention-to-detail
