The UC Irvine School of Medicine Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking candidates for a Professional Researcher Series (Assistant/Associate Rank) positions.
Criteria for the Professional Researcher Series:
The incumbent will be expected to demonstrate the potential for continuous and effective engagement in independent and creative research activity. An Assistant Researcher rank is not required to participate in service activities. An Associate Researcher rank is expected to engage in University and/or public service, such as on research review boards.
Applications are sought from candidates with DPT, PhD, DO, or MD degree. Preferred education in Biological Sciences, with some specialized training and/or research experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Mechanical Engineering. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding. Initial appointments are for one year, and renewal will be dependent upon availability of support.
