Position Overview
The University of California, Irvine is seeking a Project Scientist in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. and possess strong laboratory research backgrounds, publications, and specialized training.
Salary RangeThe annual salary range for this position is $76,700 - $201,900
. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment.

Initial appointments are for one year. Renewable based on available support. The Project Scientist will work with faculty having diverse research interests including liver development, oxidative stress, cancer, immunopathology, AI in medicine, neurodegeneration, epigenetics, computational medicine, and diagnostic technologies. The selected scientist will contribute to laboratory research and project management aligned with these interests.
Qualifications- Degreed (Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D.) candidates with strong laboratory research backgrounds and specialized training.
