PM&R Professional Researcher Series; Assistant​/Associate Rank

Position Overview

The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking candidates for a Professional Researcher Series Assistant/Associate Rank position. The annual salary range is $93,400 to $146,700.

The Professional Researcher will be expected to demonstrate potential for continuous, independent, and creative research activity.

• Assistant Researcher rank is not required to participate in service activities.
• Associate Researcher rank is expected to engage in university and/or public service, such as serving on research review boards.

• DPT, PhD, DO, or MD degree.
• Preferred education in Biological Sciences with specialized training or research experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in securing extramural funding.
• Initial appointments are for one year; renewal depends on continued funding.
