The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites highly motivated applicants for a postdoctoral scholar position in the Ardoa lab. This scholar will develop and investigate energy-transporting biomolecular assemblies within cellular or physiologically relevant environments.
The position is suited for candidates interested in working at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, and biophysics. The ideal applicant should have experience in the following areas:
- organic material synthesis and characterization
- nanostructure elucidation
- bioelectronic devices
- cell culture techniques
Good organization, communication, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting are essential. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, materials science, biomedical engineering, chemistry, or other relevant field.
