We are seeking highly motivated researchers to investigate the structure, mechanism, and assembly of nitrogenase using state-of-the-art structural biology and biochemical approaches. Successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment focused on understanding one of nature's most complex metalloenzymes.
QualificationsApplicants should have:
- A Ph.D. in structural biology, biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, or a related field.
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, creativity, initiative, and motivation.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Cryo-electron microscopy (Cryo-EM) of proteins
- Anaerobic protein biochemistry
Experience with metalloproteins, enzymology, or microbial physiology is preferred.
