Responsibilities
- May perform routine test article/product preparation according to work instructions.
- May execute routine testing per SOPs, with appropriate data analysis.
- May communicate test schedule updates to management as needed.
- May provide on‑the‑job training.
- Assure testing and test article preparation are performed within due dates.
- May prepare and maintain reagents and/or test articles as required for testing.
- Maintain ancillary records such as logbooks and worksheets.
- Maintain relevant supplies and equipment used in routine testing.
- Route all excursions or unusual testing occurrences to management.
- May order and/or stock supplies subject to approval.
- Responsible for checking laboratory equipment and being on‑call to respond to continuous monitoring alarms; respond in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures when needed.
- Performs routine calculations and interprets results.
- May be required to operate an autoclave.
- May communicate with clients to clarify testing requirements.
- May operate laboratory equipment.
- Records data in a timely and accurate manner.
- May analyze and interpret data.
- Conducts studies on medical devices that have an impact on human life.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least four years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with no experience.
- Sound judgment with effective decision‑making skills and the ability to solve problems or to Escalate as needed.
- Knowledge of the metric system, scientific applications, experimental design, and data evaluation.
- Ability to work in a GMP/GLP environment.

- Requires close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Extensive use of computer keyboard and operation of computer equipment.
Hourly rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour.
