The Department of Medicine in the School of Medicine, University of California, Irvine, is anticipating openings for Postdoctoral Scholars to work in the following divisions:
- Immunology
- Infectious Diseases
- Cardiology
- Nephrology and Hypertension
- Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
- Occupational and Environmental Medicine
- Gastroenterology
- Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- General Internal Medicine and Primary Care
- Rheumatology
- Hematology/Oncology

Appointment as a Postdoctoral Scholar requires a PhD at the time of application, or you may be working toward a PhD or foreign equivalent. Candidates should have extensive training in one or more of the above disciplines. Research independence and the ability to write and fund independent research projects are desirable. Laboratory experience is required. Salary is based on background and experience.
